SPECIAL GUEST

ON PRAISE

MAD SUNDAY - 2 JUNE

ANDY HAYNES

THE RACING PREACHER!

and you can meet Andy

He’s leading two services

“Racing Preacher Mad Sunday Services”

Sunday 2nd June 2019

10:30 am

Onchan Methodist Church

6:30 pm

Union Mills Methodist Church

2019 TT Sidecar Passenger Andy “Preacher” Haynes will lead the services

pastedGraphic.pngpastedGraphic_1.png

Andy will talk about what it is like to race around the famous TT mountain course and other well-known circuits and explain what the passenger is really doing.

He will share how he got on in sidecar race 1 on Saturday 1st June and how things went at the 2019 pre-TT where he is also racing.

Whilst Andy is an experienced sidecar racer, he is also a Methodist Local Preacher. He often says “If I wasn’t on my knees on a sidecar and racing on a Sunday, I’d be on my knees in church”.

Andy speaks with a fair amount of humour and realism.

So if you’re “not into church but into the TT” then you’re sure to enjoy it and won’t be put off with what Andy shares about the religious stuff.

And if you’re “into the religious stuff, but not so much into racing and the TT” then equally we’re sure you’ll be encouraged to hear about Andy’s faith and his racing.

Andy is easy to spot when out racing on the TT mountain course – white crosses are prominent on his leathers, as well as the bible passage Acts 20:24. Be sure to watch out for sidecar #37. In 2018 the team lapped at 101.6 mph finishing in 22nd place.

To keep up to date with Andy’s TT racing exploits follow his Racing Preacher page on Facebook or on Twitter @racingpreach

For info – Andy is happy to discuss any additional queries you might have or to come and meet up in the paddock and see the sidecar – contact him on 07720 850864 or andy@haynesassociates.co.uk
