Christy was joined on the Conister Rock by Mitch Murray, multi-award winning songwriter, author, after dinner speaker and father to two daughters who are themselves West End Stars.
He shared fantastic stories about rubbing shoulders - and working with - some of the biggest names in showbiz, from The Beatles to Georgie Fame, Tony Christie Gerry and the Pacemakers; he gave hints and tips on how to write a hit song, told tales of escaping German bombers in the 2nd World War and of course shared some of his favourite music by other artists, from Bing Crosby through to little known Italian bands who have covered his own songs.
