Women Today listen again: Patricia Newson and Eleanor Bennett

We found out about a scheme which is putting a healthy smile on the Island’s youngsters...we were joined in the studio by Patricia Newson who is a Senior Dental Nurse and Eleanor Bennett, Project lead from Isle of Man Public Health, who told us all about Smile of Mann, a voluntary scheme open to all nurseries on the Island to teach young children how to clean their teeth properly. If you would like your nursery to take part in the project, call or email publichealth@gov.im. You can find our more by visiting gov.im/toothbrushing

- we asked whether the device many of you will be wearing right now to track your fitness could actually be making you feel unwell

- we also looked at a new campaign launched today to alert drivers to the risks of tailgating

- we asked should you always stand for a national anthem?  This is after a nine year old Australian schoolgirl refused to stand for the national anthem because she said it indigenous culture – and she was branded a brat in an outcry from politicians

- and we heard how The British Red Cross is empowering the nation to learn five simple skills that could save a life - Christy caught up with Anthony Sadler, who is a Red Cross trainer & Katie Jones, whose quick thinking actions saved a life
