Women Today listen again: The Friends of Robert Owen House, running and saving

On Women Today this afternoon Beth and Jenny found out about Robert Owen House, the accommodation which is available for relatives or carers of patients at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital at Broadgreen.

Glenda Corkish and June Young from the Island charity 'Friends of Robert Owen House' joined us to talk about their fundraising.  You can get in touch with them on 07624 333008 or visit their website.

We also talked about the physical and emotional benefits of running - Liam's Run Together is just one of the running groups on the Island now aimed at getting people moving.  This Tuesday, October 9th, you can try it out for free as part of events to mark mental health awareness.  The session will start at 18:15 outside the Western Swimming Pool in Peel.  For more information about the group click here.

And we talked about how savvy we are when it comes to saving - and what is the name of the plant with sword shaped leaves...?
