More Information (Manx Radio is not responsible for external websites)
Joy Dunlop is in demand as a television presenter, dancer, journalist and educator, and is also one of the main presenters for BBC Alba's 'Speak Gaelic' programme.
As part of the Cooish Manx language festival, Joy will be delivering a one-hour long fun and engaging workshop to introduce people to Scottish Gaelic, which is closely related to Manx. You don't have to have ever spoken Manx or Scottish Gaelic to come along - give it a go!
The workshop is aimed at adults, but children aged 11+ are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult. The workshop is hosted by Culture Vannin.
You can find out more about the Cooish here: www.learnmanx.com/cooish and see details of other events taking place between 6th - 10th November.
