Open Farm Sunday is an opportunity for the public to discover the work farmers do producing food, while looking after the countryside and environment.
WHERE- ORRISDALE Farm, Ballasalla. IM9 3AE
WHEN – Sunday 8th June 2025
TIME- 10:30am - 4:30pm ish
*Watch sheep being sheared.
*Feed the pet lambs.
*Pet some of our friendliest farm animals, Calves, Lambs,
Sheep and our special guests on the day.
*Learn how food is produced and how farmers look after
the countryside.
*Climb on board new and old tractors.
*Meet our working sheepdogs.
*Look for the queen Bee in the beehive.
We’ll have games with the Young Farmers and interactions with IOM Creamery, Manx NFU, Ballaneven Compost, Southern District Show, Royal Manx Show, Manx Wildlife Trust, IOM Beekeepers, learn Wool Spinning & weaving, get involved with arts and crafts. Davisons Ice cream and Manx Traditional Food Van will join us for the day.
