Isle of Man-based Canada Life International has doubled its sales over the last twelve months.
The company says in 2010 it achieved £1.11 billion, compared with a 2009 figure of £527 million.
The results come in the same week actuarial consulting firm AKG announced CLI had retained its five star financial strength rating for the eighth year in a row.
Managing director at Canada Life International Sean Christian says the company has gained market share over the last two years thanks to customer service training and a process improvement programme.
