Licence awarded to e-gaming operator
An e-gaming operator has become the first company to be awarded a licence on the Isle of Man to run a cryptocurrency supported esports betting platform.
Real Time Games Holdings Limited recently launched its Luckbox brand, and has been granted an Online Gambling Regulation Act licence.
The Department for Enterprise's Digital Isle of Man agency says Luckbox is a new kind of innovative company, and is delighted the firm has chosen the Island as its licensing jurisdiction.
Luckbox CEO Lark Lien described the Isle of Man as having a strong reputation and hopes operating from here will set the brand apart when it launches its new product next year.
