Actor Wesley Snipes could face up to three years in jail after being found guilty of failing to file income tax returns in the United States.
The star of Blade was accused of hiding money in the Isle of Man to evade tax but a jury accepted he was duped by advisers, and acquitted him.
Federal prosecutors want the actor to spend three years in prison with a fine of up to $5 million.
He is due to be sentenced next Thursday on three counts of failure to file federal income tax returns.
