Respected local advocate John Rimmer is leaving one of the Island's largest law firms to start his own independent practice.
Mr Rimmer specialises in trust and estate planning and has practiced law in the Isle of Man for 16 years, most recently at Douglas-based Appleby.
Law firm Cains has already engaged the advocate in a consultancy role, offering his expertise to the company's family office, private and commerical clients, both within and outside the Isle of Man.
John Rimmer was named by Legal Who's Who last year among their top ten international estate planners and has been ranked as a leader in the field by Legal 500 and Chambers Global.
Mr Rimmer is planning a launch event to publicise his new independent status and practice, at the Sayle Gallery in Douglas next Wednesday, 2 July.
