Exam triumph for Edgewater professional
Young professionals at Douglas-based financial advice firm Edgewater have scooped honours for notable achievements in their exams.
Client manager Samantha Hall and paraplanner John Walker were saluted at the Insurance Institute Isle of Man annual dinner.
Samantha won the Young Achievers Award for professionals aged under 35, having completed four of the six exams required for diploma status, by the age of 18.
John scored the highest examination mark achieved both in the Island and the UK sectors, for his Certificate in Financial Planning (CertPFS).
He took home an award from the Financial Planners and Insurance Brokers Association, while his UK success saw him win the Worshipful Company of Insurers prize from Dame Inga Beale, CEO of Lloyds of London.
Edgewater MD Sandra Cardwell said:" We are passionate at Edgewater about developing our staff and investing in their future. The event showcased not only the wealth of services we can provide to Island residents, but also the quality of advice they receive".
