
The Financial Supervision Commission says deposits with Manx-licensed banks have increased by £0.13 billion (0.24 per cent) to £53.90 billion between June and September this year.
Year on year, that makes for an increase of 7.63 per cent - £3.82 billion up on the 2007 figure.
Isle of Man banks with overseas branches saw their deposits remain unchanged at £66.26 billion between June and September.
However, so far this year they’re up £4.01 billion or 6.44 per cent on the corresponding totals last year.
