Issues involved Douglas-registered company
An Irish energy tycoon has settled a multi-million pound dispute involving his Douglas registered company.
Billionaire Denis O'Brien's Kendrick Investments was involved in a row over the sale of Irish chain Topaz filling stations for over 250 million Euros.
It's alleged Kendrick, based on Peel Road, was underpaid by Canadian group Circle K.
But it's now being reported in the Irish press that the matter has been settled for a sum of 7 million Euros.
Mr O'Brien is thought to be Ireland's richest man, having amassed an estimated fortune of £5.5 billion.
