
A former director of tourism and marketing in Wales is to give a master-class on destination branding, at an event in the Isle of Man later this month.
Roger Pride, now a partner at UK brand agency Heavenly, has held senior marketing posts at the Wales Tourist Board, Visit Wales, with the Welsh Government and at Cardiff & Co.
He devised an international marketing strategy for Wales, developing campaigns in the US and Europe.
Roger's been invited to speak at an Isle of Man branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) event at Noa Backhouse on 30 April.
His presentation 'The 5 tests for a successful place brand' is sponsored by Island marketing firm Home Strategic and aimed at local marketers and those involved in promoting the Isle of Man.
