Cains has launched a new commercial mediation service on top of its commercial litigation expertise.
Two Directors, Robert Colquitt and Giles Hill, have qualified as mediators with the ADR Group, one of the UK’s leading dispute resolution companies.
The company says there will always be matters that can only be sorted out in court but there are also some cases that could be settled at an earlier stage through mediation.
In those cases, both sides can save time and money by settling a dispute before legal proceedings have been commenced.
On top of that, the Island’s court rules are in the process of being reviewed and mediation could become more common here.
