Charterhouse Group International in Ramsey has appointed Mark Shortland as compliance director and group money laundering reporting officer.
The Ramsey-based provider of remuneration solutions to the global staffing industry has diversified since appointing Ian Messenger (pictured) as CEO last year. It followed a slimming of the workforce under pressures on one of the company's main business sources.
The firm says Mr Shortland will be working to ensuring compliance with all existing legislation as well as developing services in line with constantly changing legislation. This, it says, will provide piece of mind for the stakeholders and directors by reducing any potential risk for Charterhouse clients.
Mr Shortland holds a law degree from the University of Hull, qualified as a Chartered Secretary in 2003, and is an Associate of the Compliance Institute.
