New initiatives announced at briefing
The Department of Economic Development is restructuring its on Island focused financial services business development team.
The aim is to allow companies who are already based here to grow, with one-tone advice from the department backed up by a new online 'toolkit' for businesses.
The DED says its Toolkit provides guidance, resources and insight for SMEs and entrepreneurs in the Island, along with promotional material for firms acting as ambassadors for the Isle of Man.
A well-attended breakfast briefing at the Claremont Hotel was used to announce the new initiatives (27 Oct).
Head of on-Island development for the department Simon Pickering says there is plenty of help for people on-line:
Work underway to 'get confidence back in the economy'
Energy and food security "two most important things", says MHK
Gatwick drop-off fee rises again
Isle of Man inflation holds steady at 2.8 percent in November
