Summit brainstorms threats and solutions
The latest thinking on how companies can avoid cyber crime has been spelled out at a major technical summit in the Island today.
Around 250 delegates from local firms have attended the Wi Manx-hosted event at the Villa Marina, to hear expert speakers offer advice on avoiding threats such as data breaches, hacking and industrial espionage.
New technologies designed to assist firms recover from an IT disaster have also been showcased.
In the wake of the crisis facing phone and broadband provider Talk Talk, the message to delegates is, make sure you don't become a target, but if you do, react decisively.
