Takes up position as new head of indirect tax
A Douglas law firm says its new head of indirect tax will allow the company to enhance the services it provides clients.
DQ Advocates has appointed Paul Cawley in a consultancy role following more than a decade with KPMG.
The appointment reunites Paul with head of tax Greg Jones who led the KPMG tax practice in the Isle of Man for 26 years until 2019 and who is also a consultant for DQ.
Greg said: "High-quality tax planning advice is essential as tax law becomes increasingly complex.
"That means both businesses and individuals need tax specialists who are able to identify the risks and opportunities and help them ensure compliance.
"Paul is a respected professional with a wealth of knowledge and I am confident he will quickly become an invaluable member of the firm."
