A Manx-based casino company has announced plans for an £85 million gambling resort in Birmingham.
Genting International’s UK arm, Genting Stanley hopes to build a mega-casino, spa, shops, and motel at the National Exhibition Centre.
The company says details are still being worked and planning permission still needs to be sought, but decisions on the scheme are expected in the near future.
Before the facility can go ahead, Genting will need a gaming license from Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, as well as permission to operate a large casino within the complex.
