An established name on the Isle of Man legal scene, Gough Advocates Ltd, is to split into two new specialist businesses.
Founding director Alan Gough will head a new litigation practice Gough Law, while managing director Paul Kerruish will form a new private client and commercial practice to be called Kerruish Law and Trust.
The division of the two main areas of the firm's work recognises the increasing trend towards specialisation in law.
Gough Advocates Ltd will cease trading from May 1.
Both newly-formed companies will take their existing legal and support teams with them into the new ventures, and both will continue to operate out of Gough's existing offices at Anglo International house on North Quay in Douglas.
