The Manx government has announced a high profile appointment, designed to boost the Island's international position.
The government says the arrival of Michael Charlton, as head of international sales, is 'a major coup'.
Minister for Economic Development Allan Bell says Mr Charlton will help fill the gap left by the closure of the Manx government's London office, and comes with the highest credentials.
Mr Bell says his department had to fight hard to 'land' Mr Charlton, who already has a detailed knowledge of the Island:
