Graduate fair cancelled

Covid concerns force organisers hand

The Isle of Man Graduate Fair 2020 is no longer going ahead.

It was originally due to take place on 17 April, but Locate Isle of Man has made the decision to cancel due to fears about the spread of COVID-19.

The Department for Enterprise says it hopes to provide an event for graduates in the future, and is reminding anyone interested to stay updated by following its social media channels.

Twenty cases have been confirmed on the Island so far.

The fair was originally set to welcome a number of guest speakers, including the 2017 winner of the BBC TV show The Apprentice, James White.
