Technical issues affect free pints
Heron and Brearley says a technical issue is the reason why a promotional offer ended a day early yesterday (Sun 30).
Many customers across the brewery's pubs were owed free pints of Carling, after a special offer meant they could get six for the price of five, but the electronic cards were declined on the final day of the offer.
According to H&B, a problem with its EPOS system provider caused the premature end of the deal, and it was rectified later in the day.
To compensate, all customers who still have pints to redeem will be able to do so until Sunday 7 October - although no new points will be available.
Heron and Brearley apologises for any inconvenience caused, and urges customers to get in touch at feedback@hb.im with any questions or queries.
