
Inflation has fallen for a sixth successive month.
It fell from four per cent to 3.9 per cent in February.
Treasury figures show the downward trend since it hit a record high of 6.9 per cent last August.
The annual rate of inflation excluding housing costs, shown by the Retail Prices Index, also decreased for February to 4.2 per cent.
