Eight categories are open for entry
The Institute of Directors Isle of Man has opened entries and nominations for the 2022 Director of the Year Awards.
Eight different categories ranging from businesses with an annual turnover greater than £10 million, those that have held a directorship position for less than three years – all the way to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Entrants are asked to complete an application which draws upon their knowledge, skills, and mindset from the Director Competency Framework.
That's an assessment of a variety of strengths and areas for improvement which it says helps organisations to balance core competencies within a senior leadership team.
The event is sponsored by Lloyds Bank International with various sub-sponsors for the individual categories.
The latest sponsor to be announced is KPMGCD - who as they did last year will back the Young Director Award – of which was won in 2021 by restaurant Versa’s owner Pippa Lovell.
