Irish Permanent International, based in the Isle of Man, has been named Best Offshore Business Deposit Account Provider at an award ceremony in London.
The banking group is part of the Irish financial services group, Irish Life & Permanent, and picked up the title at the Business Moneyfacts Awards 2008.
Irish Permanent beat other nominees which included Alliance and Leicester, Bradford & Bingley International, First Active Bank and Kaupthing, Singer and Friedlander.
Irish Permanent’s Managing Director Philip Murray says winning against such high profile competitors is a great achievement.
