Four dates have been announced by the union representing UK postal workers
The Isle of Man Post Office has announced that it will not be taking strike action as is being seen by postal workers in the UK.
The Communication Workers Union there which represents the majority of postal workers in the UK, have announced strike action on the following dates:
- 26 August
- 31 August
- 8 September
- 9 September
It’s understood Royal Mail has advised there are contingencies in place to minimise disruption.
Isle of Man Post Office is recommending all customers to post earlier than planned in the run up to these dates in attempt to reduce any disruption and delays.
