Solves problems for young entrepreneurs
A manx charity has launched a dedicated, 'state-of-the-art' meeting space, freely available to students participating in Junior Achievement's company programme.
The Hub is situated at the Douglas headquarters of Junior Achievement, and was sponsored by a group of local companies.
A full serviced boardroom, equipped with a printer, PC and free wi-fi, presentation facilities, and on site support - is now available in Suite 2; at Peterson House on the Middle River Industrial Estate.
Chief executive, Sue Cook, says it's often the practical elements of setting up that students have difficulties with.
The Hub was originally opened by the Department of Economic Development Minister, Laurence Skelly.
He says it supports a shared goal of fostering environments where young entrepreneurs can thrive.
