A local appeal for the thousands of people affected by the earthquakes in Nepal has raised £9,000 and counting.
Manx Rotary clubs have been trying to raise money to provide clean water and shelter in areas devastated by the two earthquakes and subsequent aftershocks.
Spokesman Nigel Dobson says he can't fathom what it's like to lose your home, possessions and family members because the earth shook for 30 seconds.
He added the need is still there, even though the natural disaster isn't making headlines anymore.
To donate to the appeal, call Mr Dobson on 215515 or email nigel@suremail.im.
