Slots payout gains Guinness listing
A Manx company’s been given an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records, for paying out the largest ever online slot machine win.
Microgaming's aptly-named Mega Moolah slot machine paid out £13.2 million in October to Cheshire soldier Jon Heywood.
After going through the Guinness World Record approval process, the company, based on Circular Road in Douglas, has been told the huge win is now an official world record.
Roger Raatgever Microgaming’s chief executive says the company’s set many industry records over the years – but having a Guinness World Records title is a special and proud moment.
