Ramsey firm set to put UAVs in Manx skies
A Manx-based business is hoping to become the 'go to' provider of drone services on the Isle of Man.
Set to launch in a month's time, Ramsey company Drone Man is hoping to win government and private sector support to use the technology for new purposes.
It insists that 'unmanned aerial vehicles' (UAVs) can be used to inspect utilities, assess infrastructure, and even on search and rescue operations.
Chief pilot at Drone Man, Clinton Kinrade, says staying ahead of the often complex drone legislation can be tricky, but the technology has enormous untapped potential.
He told Manx Radio that for drones, the sky's the limit:
