It's been explained the new chairman of the Manx Electricity Authority had nothing to do with the decision not to pursue past directors of the statutory body for fees through the courts.
A media release says that was one of the last acts of the acting chairman Eddie Lowey, MLC.
New chairman Quinton Gill, MHK, will meet staff at the MEA tomorrow (Thursday), when he will have a chance to get a closer handle on the giant responsibility he had taken on.
