33rd Tax Inform Exchange Agreement
The Isle of Man has finalised its 33rd Tax Information Exchange Agreement today.
The agreement was signed earlier by Treasury Minister Eddie Teare and from next year, it’ll allow the Isle of Man and the Cayman Islands to exchange information.
Mr Teare says both the Manx and Cayman Islands governments are committed to adopting global reporting standards for exchanging financial account information.
And he adds the new TIEA will support the first such exchange between the Isle of Man and the Cayman Islands in 2017.
