
The price of the Isle of Man Examiner is going up by an inflation-busting six per cent next week.
That's more than double the current rate of inflation.
Editor Richard Butt claims its new price, 90p, is still only five pence more than a can of Coke in 'many shops in Douglas'.
The news came as it was announced the paper would be moving its publishing date from Monday to Tuesday.
Just ten days ago the paper announced it was going to start a new section called 'Your News', asking members of the public to write for it for free.
