There was a power cut in the north of the Island yesterday.
A number of homes in and around Andreas were without electricity from around 1am, after an insulator on an overhead power line cracked.
Due to the location of the line the MEA was unable to re-route supplies and it was the evening before power could be re-instated.
The authority is apologising for any inconvenience caused
