Record donations for MGP Supporters' Club
A motorcycling organisation has thanked the Steam Packet Company for helping it to raise a record-breaking amount.
The Manx Grand Prix Supporters' Club managed to make over £10,000 through collections aboard the Mannanan and Ben-my-Chree during this year's festival.
That's almost £3,000 higher than last year's total.
It coincides with the club's 40th year of operation and the money raised will be used to support injured riders and fund medical equipment.
Chairman Andrew Kneale said the MGPSC had been "blown away" by the level of support, and thanked Steam Packet staff and passengers for their generosity.
