
A scheme which aims to protect stores in Douglas, particularly from shoplifting, has attracted its 50th member.
The Wi-Manx store in Victoria Street is the latest to join Shopwatch.
People convicted of stealing from retailers who have signed up to the initiative are automatically banned from all those registered with the scheme.
As a further deterrent, police officers who patrol the area regularly check in with the participants, and offer advice on how to improve security.
