500 missed hospital appointments in January

DNA rate of almost 10 per cent

More than 500 people failed to attend appointments at Noble’s Hospital in January.

It gives a non-attendance rate of 9.7 per cent for the month.

Of the 517 people who didn’t show up two people had highlighted issues with parking at the medical facility.

Health and Social Care Minister Lawrie Hooper says patients aren’t routinely contacted to find out why they failed to turn up:
