Focus on eliminating deprivation
Water supplies will be the focus of the annual ADRA UK appeal, which begins on the Island soon.
The campaign, run by the 'Adventists Development and Relief Agency International (ADRA), takes place during the first two weeks of April.
The charity is hoping to eliminate deprivation, social injustice and help people in need around the world - last year ARDA supplied over 100,000 people with clean water.
A group of local volunteers will be making door-to-door collections this week for the cause.
