'Chugging' reportedly not a problem here
The use of aggressive fundraising tactics is not a problem the Manx public should worry about, a charitable body says.
Reports in the UK claim charities target vulnerable people with cold calls and letters.
It's thought contact details of donors have been sold on to a number of outside agencies.
David Gawne from the Isle of Man Council of Voluntary Organisations hopes the Manx public aren't put off giving to charity:
