All Keys questions from one MHK

West Douglas MHK Chris Thomas will be the only person with questions in the House of Keys this morning.

With no queries for ministers from other members, Mr Thomas has five questions for oral answer and another four for written reply.

They cover topics including means-testing for universal benefits, respraying vehicles, and how the Island’s blood donor service operates.

And Mr Thomas may also have the chance to set up a committee to look into new legislation governing landlords – if it receives its second reading.

If the Landlord and Tenant bill goes through its planned second reading, Mr Thomas will ask for a three-strong committee to examine it and report back.

Also up for discussion in the House of Keys are laws covering the new cabinet office and trusts.

The Legislative Council also sits this morning to discuss bills about healthcare professionals, terrorism, law officers and the European Union.

You can hear live coverage of questions in the House of Keys from 10.30am here on Manx Radio’s AM1368 frequency and online at manxradio.com
