High tides and strong winds will bring debris ashore
Ronaldsway Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for coastal overtopping later today.
A large spring high tide tomorrow at around 1pm will occur in conjunction with fairly strong winds, resulting in quite large waves breaking over some exposed coastal areas for a few hours.
Some debris will be brought ashore, particularly in places exposed to the south or southwest.
The areas most at risk are Shore Road, Castletown promenade, as well as northern parts of Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey promenades.
The warning will be in place from 11:30am to 2:30pm.
