Four Manx Care staff reported for gross negligence
Manx Care says four anaesthetists who have been reported for causing manslaughter by gross negligence 'remain in work at this time'.
Yesterday police confirmed the medical professionals – one anaesthetist and three consultant anaesthetists – would appear in court in the New Year.
It follows the death of a 55-year-old Douglas man at Noble’s Hospital in February.

In a statement released by the Isle of Man Government, on behalf of the health body, it said: "The four individuals remain in work at this time.
"Manx Care is working to develop plans to mitigate the significant impact of this, and ensure that the delivery of health and social care services is maintained, working closely with the Department of Health and Social Care and the Island's National Security Council.
"Given that this is an ongoing legal process it would be inappropriate to comment any further at this stage."
Members of the public have been asked not to speculate on the case.
