Service and concert to take place inside Royal Hall
A celebration of the Armed Forces will be held today (22 Nov) at the Villa Marina.
Proceedings begin with a service inside the Royal Hall at 5pm, after which the Island's churches will sign the 'armed forces covenant, in the presence of the Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney.
After the ceremony, tea will be provided for veterans and their families, before a full evening concert takes place.
It will feature Castletown Metropolitan Silver Band, the Blue Train Big Band, and singer Mandy Griffin.
