Tynwald to vote on upgrade scheme for capital
An estimated 130 parking places will be lost if plans for a £20 million pound redevelopment of Douglas promenade get the go-ahead.
Infrastructure chiefs say new features like taxi ranks and bus laybys will take up roughly 20% of existing spaces, but efforts will be made to free up parking in other areas.
Tynwald members will be asked to support funding of the scheme at the last sitting of the Court before the summer break, which takes place next week (18 July).
