Clarification issued at coronavirus media conference
Health Minister David Ashford has issued an apology after he gave an incorrect answer in the House of Keys this morning, about a Covid vaccine related death.
Earlier today Manx Radio reported on the health minister's comments, where he said a person had died after an adverse reaction to a coronavirus vaccine.
The article has subsequently been deleted after it emerged David Ashford had made a mistake.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle read a statement on his behalf at this evening's coronavirus media briefing:
Mr Ashford was unable to attend the briefing so he could deliver the same statement to the House of Keys.
