Announcement comes following the passing of Bill Malarkey
The Health Minister David Ashford is to step in to oversee the Department of Home Affairs.
The announcement comes following the passing of Bill Malarkey last week.
Mr Ashford will therefore cover the responsibilities of home affairs, until a more permanent decision can be made.
The Chief Minister Howard Quayle explains why the decision has been made:
Main route through Foxdale closed due to RTC
Michelle Mone-linked PPE firm liquidated and unlikely to repay £148m
Yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping
