HoK sends Bill back to LegCo
The House of Keys has voted to return three amendments on the Assisted Dying Bill to the Legislative Council.
Another amendment, suggested by MLCs, was amended itself and was also sent back.
It means the Assisted Dying Bill will now go back to LegCo.
Demonstrators, supporting the introduction of the legislation, gathered ahead of the sitting (25 February) including Sue Biggerstaff whose husband Simon died in 2022:
