Autism strategy delayed after consultation highlights concerns

Plan was expected this month, but will now be published in April

Plans setting out how to make the Island more autism-friendly have been delayed after concerns were raised by the public.

The Isle of Man Government had been due to publish its National Autism Spectrum Conditions Strategy this month, but says this is has now been pushed back to April 2023.

It comes after a public consultation highlighted a number of issues.

Government says the delay will allow immediate work to be undertaken, and an update will be provided early next year.
